On Saturday, April 26th, the Central Brevard Humane Society (CBHS) and Foo Bar, located at 816 E. New Haven Avenue in Historic Downtown Melbourne will be hosting Foo Dog Days, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This monthly event will feature adoptable animals from the Humane Society at both Foo Bar and CBHS’s Molly Mutt II Thrift Shop (located a half a block west of the bar), complimentary hors d’oeuvres & doggie treats, raffles, drink specials and much, much more! Admission is FREE. All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier and have proof of current shots along with a county tag. Donations of pet supplies will be accepted during the event for the homeless animals at the shelter in Cocoa and their “new” Adoption Center, located at 155 Pioneer Road on Merritt Island.
The Central Brevard Humane Society will also be there providing the public with fun educational information about responsible pet ownership and will have merchandise available for purchase.
Proceeds from this event will help raise awareness and financial support for the thousands of unwanted and abandoned pets that visit the Humane Society each year, who need a safe and loving “forever” home. For more information, contact the Central Brevard Humane Society at (321) 636-3343.
Sponsors of this even include the Foo Bar, Croissant Chateau Bakery, Fleur des Champs, Karen’s Kayaks, Molly Mutt II Thrift Shop and Matt’s Casbah.
