The Central Brevard Humane Society has just launched their new T.L.C. Program (foster to adopt). This is a program through which individuals or families provide temporary homes for animals who have been residents of the shelter for 6 months or longer.
During this time, the Humane Society will supply individuals with an “overnight bag” for their new houseguest containing a collar, flea comb & product, microchip, toys and staff support.
Once the foster period is over, you may decide to make the animal a permanent member of the family. If so, the adoption fee will be waived (must pay for rabies vaccine & county tag).
